Clubrooms (COVID restrictions permitting) and Zoom
Our regular club meeting on 2 July will feature discussion on energy sources, both present and future, and the impact this might have on use of historic vehicles.
The collection has some very rare examples of Australian made aircraft including the oldest surviving Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC) aircraft – Wirraway A20-10, a Victa AirTourer and a DAP Mk21 Beaufighter. The museum also owns the oldest surviving Beaufort Bomber.
Zoom. A link will be emailed to members a couple of days before the session.
‘Engines’ is too big a topic to cover in one Tech Talk session, so we will limit ourselves to fuel and fuel systems. Even then we could find ourselves discussing fuel pumps, carburetors, multiple carburetors, fuel filters, fuel storage, fuel additives, vapour locks and so on and on.
